LCL / FCL

Full container or just your space

FCL for volume imports, LCL for cargo that does not fill a container: two options, the same SOLBOX network.

SOLBOX LCL and FCL service between Miami and Honduras

Choose the option that suits you

FCL (Full Container Load) means the 20 or 40 foot container travels entirely with your merchandise: maximum control, better unit cost at high volumes and less handling.

LCL (Less than Container Load) consolidates your cargo with other importers on our weekly departures: you pay only for the volume you occupy, ideal for medium or initial imports.

Frequently asked questions

When is LCL better than FCL?

When your cargo takes up less than half a container. With LCL you pay only for your space; above a certain volume, a full container (FCL) becomes cheaper.

How often do containers depart?

We operate weekly ocean departures from our Miami warehouse to Honduras, for both FCL and LCL consolidation.

Can you store my cargo while the container fills up?

Yes: our Miami warehouse receives and stores your merchandise at no consolidation cost until the next scheduled departure.
